History’s Strongest Disciple: Kenichi is the latest series which made it to my all time bests. Protagonist’s name is Shirahama Kenichi(This pic ====>). The usual ingredients like bullying, hard work, humour, innuendos and ideals in the correct proportion make this anime worth the watch.
Elder’s words rocks. Miu-san rocks. Niijama rocks. Shijure-chan rocks. Ma Kensei rocks. Sasaki rocks. Honoka rocks. Renka-chan rocks. Koetsuji sensei rocks. Ryouzanpak rocks.
The cons are the lack of scantalators for the manga due to which only a few manga chapters were translated.
I have seen the Yang-Yin badge(the badge on Kenichi’s collar in the pic) in several animes but thanks to this one, I got its meaning. Yang means the brighter side or Light. Yin means darkness or negative side. The Small dark spot in the bright part represents the darkness in the Light. Similarly, the bright spot on the Dark part is the light in the darkness. You can have much more information about this from its wiki page.
a note on Bleach Movie: Posting here because dedicating a post to Bleach Movie will demean the Post. I watched the movie in the hope of seeing Ukitake taichou fight but it is a complete let down. Its just like a lengthy filler episode. The only part worth mentioning is Byakuya’s dialogue – “Be proud that you are dying by my Bankai”.
Lately I am falling in love with the Japanese language. Hopefully I can translate manga chapters soon
[too ambitious an ambition, but nonetheless it is plausible]
